Woah friday was MD 35th, was really great (: Talked more to eupho seniors who graduated before I joined spsb. Glad that I did!

And it has been such a long time since I performed and felt the music so much! My heart was beating furiously when Hanover Festival ended. I hope it wasn't because I was out of breath! xD Awww, when I was so enjoying the music and the people, the time just flew like siao! It's already monday ): Everything ended so fast; the few months of practices, the concert. Everyone putting in so much effort, especially conductor and committee. Owe a lot to them! Hai~~~ post-concert blues.

Oops! Neglected blog for almost a month D:

Work is still okay, just that it requires a little more thinking and carefulness. Really lucky to have a patient supervisor( I don't care if I had said this before xD)

The generation gap feeling between my colleagues and me is getting stronger, I dunno why. It's just so hard to engage in a conversation with them; they are either talking about work or expenditure(dunno if it's the right word) most of the time. Thinking of it, there isn't anything much to talk about except these things. Urgh, life shouldn't suck!

Ever since I started working, I relied heavily on music to keep myself happy. Good or bad thing? Anyhow, if there isn't music in this world, I think I would die!!!!! x___x haha

Saturday went marie's house celebrate yilun's advanced birthday! Haha! Curry for lunch-dinner and we made cheesecake as birthday cake! I really hope that I could turn back time and start from sec 3 again. Or rather, I hope I wasn't that anti-social then. And that I was smart enough for that period of time. And that I already developed my dream or goal or whatever. Or rather, I should have studied more during primary school and gotten into a better secondary school.

I think if I keep listing these impossible hopes, it will be never-ending. Yes, that's regret, but what can I do but look forward? I shall be content with what I have now and continue from here. Thinking back, isn't this the path that no one has walked before, except yourself? Such a special path.

I consider this period of time in my life as a comma(I think I heard this from someone/ saw it somewhere, and i'm going to use it haha). After this comma ends, it means I'm ready to continue with my life journey(HAHA ok sounds stupid) and experience new things again! I hope by then I'll have the energy and courage to face anything and everything!

Yay finally jogged today, after 1-2 years(?)!! Went to Sengkang Riverside Park with dad. It's near Farmway LRT station. I like it a lot a lot a lot!! Cos it's a great place to jog hehe, better than my favourite stadium track(the worst places to jog are those pathways next to roads. I have seen manymanymany people accidentally hurt themselves because of running on these pathways)!

Actually wanted to just walk a bit and train. So we just walked to the end of the track. When we were going to walk back, dad suggested we should just jog back. Tio stunned sia!! Did a little warm-up and off we went!! Nearly died ah, I from IBS one ok. But luckily didn't had "internal black out", phew.

Another week gone. The most eventful day was saturday; the whole day was packed! Agaragar-making in the morning with marie(yay finally!!), then rushed off the band in the afternoon. After that collect photos and met up with angrybird for dinner and arcade! Yay!

Today's another day. What should I do? Hmmm.

So far I've got an idea on what I want to study in the future, but whether or not I'll get in, it depends.

Nightmares, one after another ):

1) Saw a sec sch english teacher, and didnt manage to say what I wanted to say then he left.

2) Quarreled with mummy. ):

3) Went with a few other people to a cafe I think? Before we went in, we saw it was going to rain, so we rented a small mushroom thing shelter that was put outside the cafe. Went inside the shelter, then immediately it looked like it was night, together with downpour. It felt squeezy inside, I think they say it was 14 ppl. So odd right! In the beginning just like 4 of us, in the end 14 ppl. I can't remember who I was with though. They were like ancient ppl, like those from fairytales. All had costumes on. Wth!! Anw, there were also baskets of berries in the shelter for us to eat.

Then somehow we stayed overnight in that mushroom shelter. Then everyone was helping themselves to the berries greedily, except me.When we woke up, all the girls (including me) were bitten on the left foot. A small, crescent-shaped bite. Some were more bloody, some were less. But the guys didn't have any of these bites! Then the guys were asked to swim. So they went out of the mushroom shelter, walked a few steps (the whole scenery was different. no more cafe) jumped down a cliff and down below into the water. Then they came up themselves.

I forgot the rest.

It's been so long since I had dreams that I can remember so clearly! And all are nightmares )):
At least it's better than the last nightmare. Old couple holding hands and jumping down HDB to death. Omg that scream. D:

Finally, today's friday. This week has been eventful!

Wednesday went to bugis to buy films from triple D. Was so noob that I asked for the films when they were so near me lol.

Thursday (yesterday) went to watch Harry Potter finale with sis and her bf(woohoo bright lightbulb). Great ending. Super like the part where Longbottom slayed the last horcrux, and Voldemort starting to disintegrate. Watching it in 3D, the effects were really cool. The bad thing is that the sound effects weren't as breath-taking. Nonetheless, 赞！

Today is the last working day for Henry and Marcus. Another 2 broke free! Lol. Took lots of pictures during lunch in the pantry. I even heard a staff who finished her lunch saying "STILL taking pictures ah" to another staff, haha!! The period after lunch was quite unbearable, cos I kept thinking of the arcade date after work with Yingru, Henry and Marcus. Hehe.

So after work, went to Iluma on Henry's car (Marcus drove it tho). The rest didn't come along! So 4 of us only ): Anw, when we reached, we ate at the guan yin miao nearby hawker centre. Yay mutton soup, my fav. Then after that met Yingru then ARCADE TIME mwhahaa.

Played for like 2-3 hours. Really mad! This is the first time I played arcade for so long. Really happy with their company (: But... I don't know when I will see them again. Uni is starting for them already. Guess they will have lesser time to go out le.

And tomorrow... alumni band!! After that k-music club's first gathering! Woohoo! The person haven't email me the venue yet though. Hope he sends it fast! Or else can't go la. ):

Recently life has been mundane. Doing the same things everyday. Times looked forward to were lunch breaks and end of work. How boring can that be, sigh. But fun colleagues helped to make the working atmosphere lighter, which is good! (:

Contract ending this month. Where would I go? I still dunno. Really feel like taking a break. But seeing others getting excited for school and for new jobs, how can I just lay back and watch? I really dunno what I'm going to do. Not getting admitted to a university really makes me seriously think of my future. Like hey, you cannot just follow where others are going, you have your own path to tread on.

Listening to suggestions help, but not always. Baba kept asking me to try enrol into NIE next year, but my interest really isn't into teaching. Plus a fact that I don't like to deal with students. Seeing how teachers get so fed up while trying to communicate with "attitude" students in the past, really reinforces my decision of not going into the teaching career. Furthermore, some parents who treat their children like diamonds are also really hard to talk to. Yea, I know, teaching has its good points, like how accomplished you can feel when you help a student improve on his/her grades and all. But it really isn't my cup of teh. I prefer MILO LOL~

In a dilemma over whether i should continue in environment/water tech or start in other areas. Arghh. What should I do? Can I just join the army/air force/navy/police? Then everything will be easier -___- Oh mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Had band earlier so after that rushed like siao. After movie, tomoko left, marie came! Lol was so funny when all of us were finding toilet after the movie! Just Acia dinner, then Esplanade chill.

EARLY DEATH COMES WITH DRINKING OF DISTILLED WATER

During nearly 19 years of clinical practice I have had the opportunity to observe the health effects of drinking different types of water. Most of you would agree that drinking unfiltered tap water could be hazardous to your health because of things like parasites, chlorine, fluoride and dioxins. Many health fanatics, however, are often surprised to hear me say that drinking distilled water on a regular, daily basis is potentially dangerous. Paavo Airola wrote about the dangers of distilled water in the 1970's when it first became a fad with the health food crowd.

Distillation is the process in which water is boiled, evaporated and the vapor condensed. Distilled water is free of dissolved minerals and, because of this, has the special property of being able to actively absorb toxic substances from the body and eliminate them. Studies validate the benefits of drinking distilled water when one is seeking to cleanse or detoxify the system for short periods of time (a few weeks at a time). Fasting using distilled water can be dangerous because of the rapid loss of electrolytes (sodium, potassium chloride) and trace minerals like magnesium, deficiencies of which can cause heart beat irregularities and high blood pressure. Cooking foods in distilled water pulls the minerals out of them and lowers their nutrient value.

Distilled water is an active absorber and when it comes into contact with air, it absorbs carbon dioxide, making it acidic. The more distilled water a person drinks, the higher the body acidity becomes.

According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, "Distilled" water, being essentially mineral-free, is very aggressive, in that it tends to dissolve substances with which it is in contact. Notably, carbon dioxide from the air is rapidly absorbed, making the water acidic and even more aggressive. Many metals are absorbed by distilled water.

The most toxic commercial beverages that people consume (i.e. cola beverages and other soft drinks) are made from distilled water. Studies have consistently shown that heavy consumers of soft drinks (with or without sugar) spill huge amounts of calcium, magnesium and other trace minerals into the urine.

The more minerals loss, the greater the risk for osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, hypothyroidism, coronary artery disease, high blood pressure and a long list of degenerative diseases generally associated with premature aging.

A growing number of health care practitioners and scientists from around the world have been advocating the theory that aging and disease is the direct result of the accumulation of acid waste products in the body.There is a great deal of scientific documentation that supports such a theory. A poor diet may be partially to blame for the waste accumulation. Meats, sugar, white flour products, fried foods, soft drinks, processed foods, alcohol, diary products and other junk foods cause the body to become more acidic. Stress, whether mental or physical can lead to acid deposits in the body.

There is a correlation between the consumption of soft water (distilled water is extremely soft) and the incidence of cardiovascular disease. Cells, tissues and organs do not like to be dipped in acid and will do anything to buffer this acidity including the removal of minerals from the sk eleton and the manufacture of bicarbonate in the blood. The longer one drinks d istilled water, the more likely the development of mineral deficiencies and an a cid state. I have done well over 3000 mineral evaluations using a combination o f blood, urine and hair tests in my practice. Almost without exception, people who consume distilled water exclusively develop multiple mineral deficiencies. Those who supplement their distilled water intake with trace minerals are not as deficient but still not as adequately nourished in minerals as their non-distil led water drinking counterparts even after several years of mineral supplementat ion.

The ideal water for the human body should be slightly alkaline and this requires the presence of minerals like calcium and magnesium. Distilled water tends to be acidic and can only be recommended as a way of drawing poisons out of the body. Once this is accomplished, the continued drinking of distilled water is a bad idea.

Water filtered through reverse osmosis tends to be neutral and is acceptable for regular use provided minerals are supplemented Water filtered through a solid charcoal filter is slightly alkaline. Ozonation of this charcoal filtered water is ideal for daily drinking. Longevity is associated with regular consumption of hard water (high in minerals). Disease and early death is more likely to be seen with the long term drinking of distilled water. Avoid it except in special circumstances.

Strabismus (Heterotropia, Squint or Crossed eyes) is a condition of any abnormal alignment of the two eyes and is most commonly horizontal - when one eye is looking at an object, the other eye turning horizontally to another direction.

This condition can occur at any age.

The intact co-ordination of the neural pathway from the brain to the external eye muscles provides us the normal binocularity and stereoscopic vision. When this neural pathway or the external eye muscles are disrupted, strabismus results and the sufferer sees double images.

In children, the brain will learn to suppress the more deviated image thus eliminate the double vision, although the squint remains. This will lead to amblyopia of the deviating eye due to disuse, as a result of the continuing mental suppression.

Can spam choc until my face burst from pimples (thanks kh i like white choc), can admire the bottles of saga seeds and stars until my eyes pop out (yl really thanks a lot for the effort! hope your fingers ok liao), and switch the giraffe lamp on and off at my bedside until i get electric shock/ my bed catch fire (thanks zj for the special present! i nvr see before sia).

First time play the fight fight machine at the arcade. Dunno how to play, so hit the 4 buttons like siao. Till now I dunno which button is for which move lor. First few rounds anyhow can, after that need to use tactic already, so a big big KO!! D: Shall stick to Pop n' Music!!! :D

The things I'm really scared of and worried about for the time being are:

1) Not having any chance to back to band to make music, practising hard on the eupho.

2) Having problems communicating with sis.

I'm still hanging on to band. I'm really scared that if one day, I can't make music and my life would be monotonous. Like no colour in my life? ): Work work work, complaining complaining, feeling tired, sleep, eat. Stay at home, sian.

During poly holidays, I seldom leave home. But band makes me go out, and makes me happy. Not like I'm that mad over band, but it's something I like! I really want to tell my father "I like band as much as you like your fishes. Does it mean that your fishes die and you have to give up on them? You keep buying new ones and try again right? Why can't I do the same, doing the things I like for as long as I can?"

And my sister is so sarcastic I can't take it at all!!!!!!!! I cannot take ittt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe it's just her way of talking, but I just can't take it at allllll!!!!! She likes to rebut eveything I say. SO TALKING LESS IS BETTER. )))))):

As you know, I'm a fan of korean singer IU hehe~ Was reading weheartiu forum, and found out about a contest. Since IU loves reading books, the members of the forum have bought her books+other things as her birthday present. And they need people to design bookmarks for the books! The best few designs get printed and will be given to IU, and the winners can win some of her merchandise!

Nothing to do ma, so I did a few lor. See my luck how.

For the second one, I referred to this hehe. IU was in a drama, and her character had this doll with her all the time.

Yea that's all. Of course, there are designs better than mine. I envy those who know how to use editing programmes to make the designs. Anw, hope my designs get chosen hehe. Deadline is ending tomorrow morning!!! :O

I dunno why, but I got weird dreams last night.

First I dreamt of my Primary 1 & 2's Chinese teacher. When I saw her in the dream I was so shocked and relieved, cos I thought I won't ever see her again. She was a great teacher, took extra care of me just because I had skin problems. I could get to sit on the chair in her class, when the rest of the class had to sit on the floor. She taught well, punished us when we did wrong. She's the first teacher I encountered who puts in her heart into teaching. The sad thing is that she never appeared in school since I was in primary 4.

Anw, in the dream, she just came back to be the school's teacher again. Her face was so clear, so vivid. I didn't expect to remember her face that well. I talked to her, took a photo together then byebye. Too bad it's a dream :/ I guess I can really never get to see her. Furthermore I only know she's called 林老师. Hmmm. Now that I have woken up and tried to recall her face, I don't really can. How weird and disappointing.

The second dream happened when I was half conscious this morning. My Sec 4 form teacher/chem teacher was in my bedroom keeping clothes into my wardrobe. I think in real life it's my mum lol, cos I was half awake. Then my form teacher was telling me "Why didn't you give all your love to your friends? They will feel hurt(or something like that, can't really remember)." Haha weird question sia. So anw I replied her that it isn't necessary to give ALL my love at once to my friends. I'll give some to them when they need it, so in the future I still have enough to give them. Or worse, some don't deserve it and I already gave them all?

Haha, I know it sounds weird, cos love can't be counted or exhausted! It won't just drain off right -___- haha. I just think it's a weird dream.

When are dreams normal? Lol.

Gotta practise hard. It may be my last time performing in the Esplanade too ): I'm considered lucky having performed in Victoria Concert Hall + Esplanade Concert Hall + Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music + take part in a band competition, when I am just as noob as any other noob! Today's telephone call test siao liao. Screwed it up like no one else wooh! Bought a film camera a few weeks back! (Eximus Wide and Slim)

Developed the first roll of film! (Kodak ColourPlus ISO200) Got the auntie to scan the photos into a cd instead of printing them out. Cheaper :D Here are some of the better ones:
